Why do we love being located on Isle La Motte, VT? It's the people. Ever since we opened our doors in 2006, the neighborhood openend its arms and welcomed Fossil Rock to the town.
On any given day you are guaranteed to see at least three of your neighbors, have two or more visitors stop by the house unannounced and share a cup of coffee with someone. It's an old-fashioned way of living where people spend more time talking and less time looking at each other over their white picket fences. Car doors and porches are almost always unlocked, no one uses a front door unless you are a bill collector, and people are always happy to see you coming.
So why not come and see what all of the fuss is about? At Fossil Rock Resort, we make you a part of our little world on Lake Champlain. During your stay you are welcome to partake in any of the activities and services we offer, or if you would like to hang out in the kitchen, pull weeds in the garden or come for a ride into town for some groceries we would love to have you along.
